You know how important it is to have a date night when you have kids. You need time for yourself and time alone with your spouse. With my Husband and my job we use our evening work events for date nights a lot of the time. It's a blessing and a curse really. Because usually there are clients, friends and possibly coworkers to say hello to and visit with at a dinner fundraiser or other kind of event. (And sometimes its nice to be just the two of us.) Last Saturday was sort of a work event, but we REALLY enjoyed it with two of our best friends that also happen to own the company that my husband works for, along with some new friends! I'm going to tell you about our evening at Salty's in Seattle because I like restaurant reviews and it was delicious. That's me and my husband in the photo below!
And I want to encourage you to go on a date night!
1st Course: Tempura Razor Clams on a bed of Rock Salt and Kale
Main course: Fresh, live king crab flown in straight from Alaska the day before! Multi-colored potatoes and asparagus on the side.
