I love Mexican food. If I had to eat one kind of food for the rest of my life, Mexican would be it. When my sister introduced me to these tacos, I was delighted! With a creamy taco sauce, how could you go wrong? So without further delay, here it is!
Healthy Tacos or Taco Salad
1 lb. lean ground turkey
2 cups nonfat, plain Greek yogurt
1 taco seasoning packet
For tacos: large romaine leaves
For salad: romaine or lettuce of your choice
Brown the turkey and mix in half of the taco seasoning packet. The other half of the seasoning should be mixed into the Greek yogurt. Cut the avocado into bite sized pieces, set aside.
If you want to make tacos, spoon taco meat, the yogurt sauce and diced avocado into the romaine leaf “taco shell.” If you are making a taco salad, simply spoon the meat, yogurt sauce and avocado over a bed of lettuce. Enjoy!
