I have been wanting my 7 year old, Dylan, to submit a drawing for the Kids Design Glass project at the Tacoma Museum of Glass for several years now. He is a super talented budding artist. I’ll scan some of his drawings sometime and show ya’ll. 🙂

This Saturday, two Kids Design Glass drawings have been selected to be transformed into glass! 8 year old Colin Webber’s Paddle-Boarding Pelican will be created on Saturday and 6 year old Rhys Dumais’ T-Rex will be created on Sunday. The event is from 10am-5pm.

This is a great event for the whole family to enjoy. Plus, Gibson’s Frozen Yogurt Truck will be at the museum to offer tasty treats!

Sounds like a super fun thing to do this weekend with the kids, doesn’t it?? I think I’ll try to go and take my nephews that are visiting from California. They came up with my sister and bro-in-law on Tuesday for our younger sister’s baby’s birth. Got all that? Anyway, as always thanks for being a reader and hope to see you Saturday at the MOG!
