This week’s Tacoma Working Mom is Bobbie Bailey. Bobbie and I have been friends for several years. I have watched her grow her business and her family. Bobbie lives in Gig Harbor with her Fire Fighter Husband and two children. Recently, Bobbie re-branded her marketing firm from Marketing Puget Sound to M Agency Inc. Find out more about Bobbie and her team HERE. Read on to learn more about Bobbie and be inspired by another Tacoma Working Mom! 🙂
Will you tell the TWM (Tacoma Working Mom) readers a little about yourself?
I am a mother of two beautiful children, 8 and 1, a wife of 10 years and the founder of Marketing Puget Sound (MPS and now M Agency). In 2009 I started a firm that has since developed it into a award winning business.
What does a day in your shoes typically look like? My days start at the gym and end on the ground tickling my 8 year old. I honestly can say my personality doesn’t condone two days looking the same so I don’t really have a “Day In The Life” outline, I can just say it’s busy and I am having fun!
What 2-3 things do you do in the mornings to prepare yourself
before work and is there one thing you look to accomplish every day?
Coffee, Gym Routine and Manifesting 🙂 These are my three keys to success.
What is your breakfast of choice? My homemade oat cereal 🙂
What is your favorite thing about being an entrepreneur? The freedom to be creative! I truly can design all aspects of my life to be exactly what I want.
What and/or who inspires you at work? Gratitude for all of the opportunity I have had, nothing else motivates me quite like gratitude.
Do you have an outfit that always makes you feel good when you have
a big meeting or event? Not one outfit, it is usually black though.
What has been one of your biggest wins in your career? Your biggest mistake? The biggest win has been the community I chose to open my business in. My community has truly supported me and I wouldn’t be where I am today without it. My biggest mistake has been hiring mistakes… Honestly hiring has been the most humbling thing I have ever experienced.
What advice would you give to women just starting their careers?
Don’t think you should be further along then you are, push yourself to improve but really embrace where you are! I have missed out on some amazing times in my business because of thinking I should have more figured out than I do.
What is your favorite quote to live by? Oh Gosh, so many but this one always shows up!
THE MOMENT YOU TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR EVERYTHING IN YOUR LIFE IS THE MOMENT YOU CAN CHANGE ANYTHING IN YOUR LIFE!
Thank you Bobbie for being honest and inspiring other working Moms’ to keep improving! And congratulations on your rebrand of M Agency Inc!
